Samsung phone fix gets a lot easier starting tomorrow

Samsung announced on Wednesday that it is partnering with uBreakiFix to bring same-day, in-person phone repairs to Galaxy device owners across the United States. This guarantees that you can avoid those hassles and spend more time actually using your phone instead of fretting over its fate.

The shops are auhtorised under Samsung Care standards and use only Samsung parts. The electronics maker on Wednesday announced that it is partnering with uBreakiFix, an independent repairs chain, to bring same-day, in-person fix service for more users of various Galaxy handsets in the US.

Clearly, Samsung wants to be able to provide quality hardware service without users having to worry about faulty, third-party parts. The work will be done by Samsung-certified professionals.

The partnership goes into effect on Thursday, one day before Samsung's new Galaxy S9 phone formally starts shipping.

Samsung says that appointments can be booked online, or you can simply walk into a retail location and drop off your damaged Galaxy smartphone.

Certain Best Buy stores already offer official Samsung same-day repairs, but few stores participate; none in the state of NY offer repairs.

Devices that can take service include the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8 and even the Galaxy S9 (with all the different associated models), and also the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Note 8. A wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., SEA is pushing beyond the limits of today's technology and providing consumers and organizations with a portfolio of groundbreaking products in appliances, home entertainment, Internet of Things, mobile computing, smartphones, virtual reality, wireless infrastructure and wearables, in addition to offering leading content and services related to mobile payments, 360-degree VR video, customer support and more.
