Warning about child porn video circulating Facebook

A video of a young girl performing oral sex on a man was circulated on Facebook, causing law enforcement to issue warnings to those sharing it.

Authorities across the nation are urging people not to click or share a video apparently depicting child pornography, even if you are attempting to seek justice.

If you share the video, you could be criminally charged. This is in an effort to locate the victim, as well as figure out the origin of the video.

If you receive the message containing the video, law enforcement says to report it to the social media platform and local authorities.

Other agencies, including the Chicago Police Department, have said they are investigating as well. "If you are in possession of it, no matter your good intentions, that is also a felony", Madison County's Chief Trial Attorney, Tim Gann explained.

ACCPD has been made aware of a video making its way around social media involving child pornography.
