Datally by Google Launched

Google is taking aim at the "next billion" internet users with a way to stop smartphone apps from needlessly burning through costly mobile data allowances.

So as consumers, we often look for ways to save those extra few megabytes of our mobile data by either reducing our usage or simply switching it off altogether. Google has released a new app for Android users created to help.

The key point here is that while these settings are hidden behind their fair share of menus and submenus, Datally brings all these to the front and presents them to you in a very simple manner: to save data or not to save data. "Through Datally's data saver feature, I am now able to use it in apps and activities I truly need", she said during the Datally's launching at the Google headquarters in Taguig City on Wednesday, November 29. The Data Saver bubble is like a speedometer for mobile data. The app also generates customized recommendations including the ability to activate reminders to save data.
