Coutinho ready for Liverpool start - Klopp

After failing to complete a move to Barcelona in the transfer window, the Brazilian was back in action from the bench during Liverpool's 2-2 Champions League draw with Sevilla at Anfield on Wednesday.

With a missed penalty in the first half and a numerous amount of missed attempts, Loris Karius claims that the draw against Sevilla was a disappointing one.

"Even though we went ahead in the first half, it was really hard to contain their pace, especially wide".

Joe Gomez, playing in his fifth game of the season for Liverpool, earned a second yellow late on and will be suspended for their trip to Spartak Moskva on September 29.

Liverpool will be without Sadio Mane for their Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday, in what a big blow for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp's side haven't conceded a goal in their last four league games at Anfield.

Liverpool created plenty of chances against Sevilla but were guilty of poor finishing and Klopp said his players must be more clinical against Burnley.

"We took the lead but couldn't contain their forward play after that".

"However, in the second half when a similar thing took place, the ball came to me and we were losing and chasing the game, I still chose to throw the ball away to try and make up what I had done in the first half".

"Roberto (Firmino) has already played left wing, Phil has played there and Alex (Oxlade-Chamberlain) can play there". They did it in the first half while winning and while we were losing in the second half, I did the same thing.

"We need to learn how to be dominant and not to give easy goals away", Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp said. So they don't like me. So last night, Lovren decided that he will not stay behind in defensive weaknesses and promptly handed an advantage to Sevilla by not clearing the ball that Ben Yedder put away.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Simon Mignolet will return in goal against Burnley while Philippe Coutinho is also in contention to start this weekend.
