Corinne Olympios Issues Apology To DeMario Jackson: 'I Don't Blame Him'

Asked to clarify today, she told host Amy Robach, "I was a victim of, you know, just being blown into the media and having people make these insane, you know, assumptions and judgments about what happened that day". The pool was the location where the alleged sexual misconduct transpired, though after reviewing tapes, Warner Bros. concluded no misconduct had taken place.

As we previously stated, we recently became aware of allegations regarding an incident on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico.

According to ABC, contestants are required to take an STD test and and complete an 800-question psyche evaluation. Jackson gave his side of the story last week, and now it's Olympios' turn.

She said that she is weaning herself off of that medication and has limited her drinking. "The media wants to paint you a certain way that you know you're just not", she said.

"I was also on a medication that severely blacks you out and impairs your judgment and messes with your balance". She told Harrison that she didn't know she was supposed to avoid booze while on the meds. It's just an unfortunate, annoying situation that had to go down. "It was like I went, like, under anesthesia and then just, like, woke up". In fact, she issued an apology to him, saying she never once said anything negative about him since news of the sex scandal broke. "I was, like, in shock".

Since the scandal, Olympios has entered therapy and called it quits with boyfriend Jordan Gielchinsky, who she was reportedly dating before and after going on Bachelor in Paradise.

Corinne Olympios arrives at the Los Angeles Premiere of "Unforgettable", April 18, 2017, in Hollywood, Calif.

A combination of alcohol and medication caused Corinne Olympios to black out during the first day of taping "Bachelor in Paradise", the reality star said during a taped segment on Tuesday's episode of the summer dating show. When asked how she felt that she'd been a victim, Corinne explained that it was more about the media portrayal of her than anything else. "All of a sudden people became an expert on the situation and what happened.it was just disgusting to deal with".

"I'm really happy that this is finally coming to an end", she adds.

Meanwhile, Jackson spoke to E!

"I was a little bit nervous to talk to him, because he did run to the media, and I didn't want to add fuel to the fire", she said of lying low in the beginning. This is hot. This is very.

Jackson had a sit-down with Harrison of his own last week, and tearfully said that the accusation of sexual assault was "every man's biggest fear".

The star and DeMario were at the heart of a scandal which led to a temporary shutdown in production of the hit series, and on Tuesday night's episode of Bachelor In Paradise, Corinne sat down with host Chris Harrison to recall the events which led to - and followed - the controversy. "I don't blame DeMario", she reiterated. Harrison asked Olympios. "I don't blame DeMario", she responded.
