Xbox One X Leak Hints at "Project Scorpio" Edition

Amazon US and Amazon UK are still listing the Xbox One X as before. The console itself is tattooed with the same marking, and it appears to have a textured, mesh-y finish that's unlike the matte plastic casing of the standard Xbox One X. Beyond those changes, though, this seems to be more or less the same Xbox One X we've already been introduced to.

The Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition looks to feature a blacked-out controller with "Project Scorpio" running down the middle in an electric green font. Microsoft has yet to officially announce the special edition console, but based on the listings, we know it'll be called the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, presumably after the Project Scorpio codename. The company released a limited edition of the anticipated gaming box in June of 2013, complete with an embossed "Day One 2013" controller. Phil Spencer claimed a few weeks back that they would be live soon but it looks like the company is saving the exact date for Gamescom, which Microsoft will be attending this year.
