'Wonder Woman' is officially banned in Lebanon

The group leading the boycott against Wonder Woman specifically cited Gadot's previous service in the IDF and her support for Israel's military policy as grounds for the boycott of the film. Chief among them is Connie Nielsen, who plays Hippolyta, ruler of Themyscira and Queen of the Amazons.

It's also been reported that Warner Bros is so pleased with Wonder Woman that a sequel is now in development, with Patty Jenkins recently stating she would like to direct. Wonder Woman is an origin story, and as such it runs down everything you need to know about Diana - where she's from, how she was raised, what her goal in life is, and how she came to be the fearless heroine we know and love. "It's the first time we had an automated war". Chris Pine plays Steve Trevor, the charming spy who lures Diana to London, where she discovers her superpowers. There is always the chance that number could fluctuate up or down in the coming days, but fans can rest easy knowing that Wonder Woman is not considered "rotten" after all. Wonder Woman can be very charming and warm and have so much compassion and love for the world.

First, after dressing up as Wonder Woman as a little girl, having a Wonder Woman birthday party, learning her spin exactly from the TV series, writing chapters for a book about her, editing the book and covering women in geekdom, you can see why seeing her might strike a chord. Instead of being set in World War II like in her comic book origins, she instead joins the world of man towards the end of the First War. Please go see this film opening weekend (June 2) and show the studios that we need more.
