Mostly sunny skies are expected Thursday, along with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Expect blustery winds late in the day with gusts reaching 26 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Above-normal high temperatures continue to make their way into the Charleston-area forecast, with highs at or near 90 for the entire week.

The National Weather Service reports showers are likely Monday, mainly before 10 a.m.in Central Massachusetts and around Boston, noon in Western Massachusetts.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 88 and partly cloudy conditions headed into the evening with a low around 69. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67 degrees.

Sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 87. Mostly cloudy with a high near 70.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Scattered rain shows are expected on some areas. A front moving south into our humid gulf air will provide lift for showers during the weekend, especially on Sunday.
