Trump adviser to leave the White House

Sebastian Gorka, a White House adviser who has been increasingly under fire for his suspected links to far-right groups, is expected to leave the Trump administration, United States media reported on Sunday.

Gorka has served as both a national security adviser and on the Strategic Initiatives Group, which is an organization within the White House, according to the publication.

But a source told the Washington Examiner that Gorka's role in SIG was always meant to be temporary, and suggested he had been placed there while administration officials created a terrorism-related position for him elsewhere in the government.

Gorka's status in the West Wing has been the subject of speculation amid reports that the White House had weighed options that would place the former Breitbart editor in another areas of the administration. That source who talked about Gorka "giving White House tours" and not doing much sounds jealous to me.

But a CNN KFile review of Gorka's public comments throughout the presidential campaign shows that even after his work for Trump, the former Breitbart editor offered stinging critiques of his future boss's rhetoric on key foreign policy issues from terrorism to Russian Federation and China.

Sebastian Gorka, a deputy assistant to the president, will take a position that deals with the "war of ideas" regarding radical Islamic extremism, sources told The Washington Examiner on Sunday.

A British aide to USA president Donald Trump will be leaving the White House, according to reports.

This report has been changed to correct an error in the original version, which stated, wrongly, that the Jerusalem Post had removed Gorka from the roster of speakers for its upcoming NY conference, May 7.

The Forward on Thursday said Gorka was a formal member of the far-right group Historical Vit├ęzi Rend.

A second White House source with direct knowledge of these matters confirmed to Breitbart News that the reports are wrong. "One senior administration official said Gorka is expected to find an opportunity outside the White House soon".
