Tesla Ousts Executive For Clashing With Elon Musk Over Direction Of Company

Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) acquired SolarCity a year ago so that both the companies will be able to work together on better energy products, while also fulfilling the wish of CEO Elon Musk of the two companies working under one umbrella. That will be controlled autonomously by the overarching tunnel system, and carry the auto to its destination. The platform travels at 124 miles per hour (200 km) with the vehicle on it as other cars travel on other car-skates through the tunnels.

Elon Musk's new venture, The Boring Company, has unveiled its vision for a network of automobile tunnels under the city of Los Angeles in a computer animation.

In addition to dozens of tunnels for cars, they would ideally also build an underground hyperloop mass transit system.

The flying vehicle diss also reflects the war between Tesla and Uber-Inverse reported in October that Musk equated Uber's falling reputation with consumers to a case of "the people vs. Uber". Currently, Musk says he and his engineers are working on developing a singular machine that can tunnel and place supports simultaneously.

Tesla Inc's Elon Musk is one of the most innovative minds in the world of entrepreneurship and technology.

His semi-autonomous Tesla auto fleet has been under scrutiny since a fatal crash in May 2016, but Mr Musk showed no signs of slowing down his ambitions for the firm.

A Tesla spokesman, meanwhile, said the "allegations are entirely without merit and (we) will be responding as part of the NLRB process". Musk conceded that there are still many challenges, the main ones being the cost and speed of installing the tunnels. "I'm going to create a machine for drilling tunnels and just start excavation work..." As you might expect, these are no simple tunnels you drive in and out of.

Vancouver has its own traffic congestion problem, but former City of Vancouver planner Brent Toderian, said Musk's idea is "dumb and risky". Machines today dig the tunnels about half the time and spend the other half reinforcing those tunnels, he said. "So Gary is capable of now going 14 times faster than a tunnel boring machine", Musk said, according to Business Insider.
