Apple's own website hints new products might launch tomorrow morning

The same was also said by Japanese blogger Mac Otakara who anticipates that the new iPad Pro models will be unveiled at the said event. Earlier, the timetable was set for May-June to release it in the yearly event.

For instance, MacWorld reported that announcement of Apple's 2017 iPad Pro 2 release date may happen later this March.

Apple taking its store offline doesn't automatically mean new products are on the way.

Recent rumors have promised Apple will launch new products this week.

The iPad Pro 2017 will reportedly have a 10.5-inch model and a low-priced 9.7-inch model that will be unveiled on the Apple March event.

There have been heavy speculations about the iPad Pro 2017.

The firm today confirmed its online store would be down - a usual sign of incoming new products. There will be a new 10.5-inch form factor and a reportedly budget model that will sell for as low as $299 as Apple strategizes to improve declining market sales.

The 10.5-inch iPad will target education and business sectors. This latest report may be part of an "underpicing" strategy of Apple as it is reported to be pitching low prices for the Airpods and the newest Apple Watch Series 3 in a bid to entice more customers to its ecosystem.

For now, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro with A9X chip has an entry price of $599, while the A8X-powered iPad Air 2 starts at $399.

As MacRumors points out, Apple typically issues its press releases at 8:30am PT, which is when the store is scheduled to come back up.

Most recently, a report suggested that the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models will be upgraded this year with under-the-hood speed enhancements.

The larger iPad model is also expected to gain the 12-megapixel rear camera and True Tone flash from the smaller model.

The Apple Pencil digital stylus was also introduced at the same time, enabling people to draw on the tablet more easily. Even Apple Inc.'s (NASDAQ:AAPL) popular iPad lineup has not been spared, as the Cupertino giant's tablet range fails to keep up with the increasing popularity of phablet devices.
