Kim Kardashian's Robbery Theory

But, in true Kardashian form, Kim will open up about the Paris robbery on the KUWTK episode scheduled for March 19, and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians preview is absolutely heartbreaking.

The harrowing heist occurred on October 3 when armed intruders broke into Kardashian's hotel room and made off with more than $5 million worth of jewelry.

"What I think happened now, after thinking about it so much, is that there was probably a group of guys that was following us the entire trip", she shared.

"Am I gonna run down the stairs and either be shot in the back?" she said in tears.

Reps for E! say Kim's recollection of the robbery is one of the most harrowing scenes she's ever filmed.

Kim also admitted that her use of social media was a factor in the thieves being able to choose a moment when she was vulnerable to attack. "I do think it's weird though that like 25 minutes after [friend] Jasmine and them left." older sister Kourtney begins.

"Either they're going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don't, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I'm f*****", she cried.

In a previous preview clip for the E! show, Kim told her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian: "They ask for money".

In January, French authorities conducted a series of raids and arrested 17 people in connection to the crime. "They had this window of opportunity and just went for it", Kim tells them in the sneak peek.

Kim's mother Kris Jenner appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month and said that returning to film Keeping Up with the Kardashians had actually helped her daughter return to a sense of normalcy after the "devastating" incident.

The new episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
