LG G6 will have new UX that utilizes Full Vision display

LG has also upgraded its own UI to UX 6.0 to take into account the added benefits.

Music player, address book, call menu, and calendar will all use the 1:1 Square GUI.

LG says that the G6 includes a feature that'll help you view 16:9 content on the phone's 18:9 screen.

The G6's so-called FullVision display is a corker: 5.7 inches, QHD+ (2880 x 1440), which works out at an impressive 565 pixels per inch.

If there is one thing that is brought to the forefront in the trailer, it's the use of squares and how it offers flawless proportions when combined with LG's upcoming UX.

LG is not waiting around for its 2017 Mobile World Congress press event on February 26 to reveal more information about its next flagship phone, the LG G6. The UX is said to be designed in a way that fills the front of the smartphone. With this, users can shoot images in 1:1 format - a popular format on social media apps such as Instagram - and review them in the adjacent window. LG has also announced a new, saturated Food Mode for those who like to take photographs of their meals.

A new "food mode" will increase color saturation of food, and in the gallery users can group between two and 100 together photos to make GIF videos. However, the company claims the LG UX 6.0 that will be included with the phone will allow users to run apps in "two perfectly square windows side by side". Now, as the LG G6 approaches with a lack of bezels, the addition of waterproofing, and more, I can't wait to check out this phone.

"The dimensions of the phone are ergonomically created to ensure maximum comfort and compatibility with existing and upcoming digital content", says LG.

The G6 will provide advanced multi-tasking features. For example, you can type a memo on one side of the screen while browsing the web on the other, or use a single app to get new features when the screen is horizontal, like how the calendar app will show a calendar on the left half of the screen and a schedule on the right.
