Charles Oakley Permanently Banned From Madison Square Garden

After being thrown out at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night (Feb. 8) after his altercation with security, New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley has reportedly been banned for life from attending any games at MSG.

"It's not necessarily a lifetime ban", Dolan said on The Michael Kay Show.

Garden security was concerned about Oakley because the former hard court star sat down and immediately started screamed obscenities at Knicks owner James Dolan and his assistant, who were sitting a few rows ahead, the source told Fox 5 News.

"While Oakley, the bruising 6'8" enforcer for NY between 1988 and 1998, was arrested for punching three security guards at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, the court of public opinion, if not the law, is standing by Oakley.

Oakley, who owns two vehicle washes, one in Brooklyn and another in Yonkers, New York, paid for the $1,067 courtside seat himself. The Garden released 16 witness statements that portrayed Oakley as rude and belligerent from the moment he arrived to the game.

"We were very tight when I coached the Knicks", Pitino said.

"You got all those [expletive] security people over them looking at me".

Per B/R's Howard Beck, the Knicks have sent out a security report about the situation involving Oakley and there will be "follow-up video" distributed to the media at some point on Friday.

New York Knicks owner James Dolan reacts from his seat during the third quarter between the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers at Madison Square Garden. James Dolan!' I mean, that's embarrassing, man. "Everything he has said since the incident is pure fiction".

This petty war between Charles Oakley and the New York Knicks isn't going to end well for the Knicks.

The manager says Oakley continued to say that they all "just suck Dolan's d**k".

On Wednesday night, Oakley was handcuffed shortly after he reached the tunnel and got into a heated conversation with Knicks president Phil Jackson, who appeared to be trying to calm him. He said 'Do you know who I am?
